Mozilla Firefox before 31.0 and Thunderbird before 31.0 allow remote attackers to cause a denial of service (X.509 certificate parsing outage) via a crafted certificate that does not use ASCII character encoding in a required context.

The Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) implementation in Mozilla Firefox before 4.0, Thunderbird before 3.3, and SeaMonkey before 2.1 does not properly handle the :visited pseudo-class, which allows remote attackers to obtain sensitive information about visited web pages via a crafted HTML document, a related issue to CVE-2010-2264.

Mozilla Firefox before 3.5.14 and 3.6.x before 3.6.11, Thunderbird before 3.0.9 and 3.1.x before 3.1.5, and SeaMonkey before 2.0.9 recognize a wildcard IP address in the subject's Common Name field of an X.509 certificate, which might allow man-in-the-middle attackers to spoof arbitrary SSL servers via a crafted certificate issued by a legitimate Certification Authority.

Mozilla Firefox before 3.6.23 and 4.x through 5, Thunderbird before 6.0, and SeaMonkey before 2.3 do not properly handle "location" as the name of a frame, which allows remote attackers to bypass the Same Origin Policy via a crafted web site, a different vulnerability than CVE-2010-0170.

If a user clicked into a specifically crafted PDF, the PDF reader could be confused into leaking cross-origin information, when said information is served as chunked data. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 85, Thunderbird < 78.7, and Firefox ESR < 78.7.

CRLF injection vulnerability in the nsCookieService::SetCookieStringInternal function in netwerk/cookie/nsCookieService.cpp in Mozilla Firefox before 3.6.18 and 4.x through 4.0.1, and Thunderbird before 3.1.11, allows remote attackers to bypass intended access restrictions via a string containing a \n (newline) character, which is not properly handled in a JavaScript "document.cookie =" expression, a different vulnerability than CVE-2011-2374.

When processing a PGP/MIME payload that contains digitally signed text, the first paragraph of the text was never shown to the user. This is because the text was interpreted as a MIME message and the first paragraph was always treated as an email header section. A digitally signed text from a different context, such as a signed GIT commit, could be used to spoof an email message. This vulnerability affects Thunderbird < 115.6.

In multiple cases browser prompts could have been obscured by popups controlled by content. These could have led to potential user confusion and spoofing attacks. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 113, Firefox ESR < 102.11, and Thunderbird < 102.11.

A website could have obscured the full screen notification by using the file open dialog. This could have led to user confusion and possible spoofing attacks. *Note: This issue only affected macOS operating systems. Other operating systems are unaffected.* This vulnerability affects Firefox < 119, Firefox ESR < 115.4, and Thunderbird < 115.4.1.

By encoding Unicode whitespace characters within the From email header, an attacker can spoof the sender email address that Thunderbird displays. This vulnerability affects Thunderbird < 68.8.0.

This vulnerability affects Firefox < 112, Focus for Android < 112, Firefox ESR < 102.10, Firefox for Android < 112, and Thunderbird < 102.10.

When receiving an HTML email that specified to load an <code>iframe</code> element from a remote location, a request to the remote document was sent. However, Thunderbird didn't display the document. This vulnerability affects Thunderbird < 102.2.1 and Thunderbird < 91.13.1.

If the `browser.privatebrowsing.autostart` preference is enabled, IndexedDB files were not properly deleted when the window was closed. This preference is disabled by default in Firefox. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 126, Firefox ESR < 115.11, and Thunderbird < 115.11.

Thunderbird did not check if the user ID associated with an OpenPGP key has a valid self signature. An attacker may create a crafted version of an OpenPGP key, by either replacing the original user ID, or by adding another user ID.
